I really appreciate your prayers!
Please pray that:
- I adapt to life in rural Africa; the heat, the food, the way of life etc.
- I don't get sick! There are lots of nasty diseases going round and I don't want to catch any of them!
- I faithfully demonstrate God's love and accurately represent his heart to all the people I meet.
- I'm overwhelmed not by the poverty and need around me, but by the undiminishing capacity of our God to meet all those needs with his glorious riches.
- I'm a blessing to the team, to the local churches and to the community.
- I don't lean on my own understanding but trust in God at all times.- I make some really good friends.
- God would meet with me in a new and exciting way, and that I would come to know him in a much deeper way.
- I would learn Kinyarwanda quickly and be able to communicate clearly
